What is the difference between internal TF and external TF on a Micro SD + USB combo connector?
Where the microSD slot opens: external TF puts the card slot on the panel side next to the USB port so the user can swap cards; internal TF faces the slot into the enclosure so it is not exposed after assembly, for designs where the card stays put or should not be reachable. The KINGCONN USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 versions each come in both.
Combo connector or separate USB receptacle and microSD socket?
Choose the combo when panel space is tight and the two ports sit side by side — one fewer opening and alignment step. Use separate parts when the ports are in different places or need different types, for example a push-push microSD socket.
