When a plain microSD socket is not enough, the family splits 4 ways: microSD 4.0 (UHS-II) with a second contact row, microSD Express (SD 7.1 / 8.0) with a PCIe lane on that row, and combo sockets that take microSD plus USB or UFS through 1 opening. Card generations follow the SD Association specifications; KINGCONN values come from the part drawings.

A card always falls back to what the socket can connect, so the socket you fit sets the ceiling of the product's card speed. The mechanical outline does not change across these generations — what changes is the second row and the routing rules behind it.
microSD 4.0 (UHS-II)
Catalog models add the UHS-II contact row at 0.8mm / 0.9mm pitch with profile heights of 1.30mm, 1.50mm, 1.63mm and 1.67mm and 3000 mating cycles. Choose it when the host controller has UHS-II lanes.
microSD Express (SD 7.1 / 8.0)
microSD Express puts the PCIe/NVMe generation into the micro form factor: catalog models are at 0.90mm pitch with heights of 2.25mm, 2.27mm and 2.525mm, C5210 copper-alloy contacts and stainless steel (SUS304) shells. Combo sockets: 1 slot, 2 card types
microSD + USB models accept either a microSD card or a USB plug through the same opening — useful when a panel has room for 1 cut-out and the product needs both. The microSD 4.0 + UFS socket accepts a removable UFS card and a microSD card. Catalog models use LCP housings with phosphor bronze contacts.
